We all have potentials. We can become anything we chose to become. We have dreams and our dreams are future events that are possible for us. You are born a winner, never a loser. The first attempt of life from the womb to the outer world, you fought your way through. You won all the battles in the womb and you came out a winner. That same winning instinct is still in each one of us but we must earnest it. We are all capable of leading a meaningful life without reservation. We are all capable of doing great things. Most people feel helpless and sometime hopeless because they feel there is nothing they could do to turn their lives around. We are not defined by our surrounding circumstances. We can live above barriers. We can make miracles happen for us. And we can be anything. Life is beautiful when we add colors to it by surrounding ourselves with people we love, and do the things which we love to do. Enjoy life to the fullest. We must live and leave a legacy. Let people remember you for who you are and what they will miss when you have joined the spirit world. It is not enough to want a better life for yourself alone, but to leave the world better than you met it.
And in order to unleash your potentials, the power within. For you to make miracles happen for you and the people around you, you must first discover who you are. Go on a journey of self-discovery. Search within and know what you are made of and what you are made for. Just like Socrates said “man know thy self”, self-knowledge is key to unleashing ones potentials. That is why self discovery is the most eventful journey ever ever known to man. Now, here is my question again, who are you? take a few minutes to ponder on this question. I once asked some high school students to tell me who they are without mentioning their names. Only few of them were able to say something about themselves without mentioning their names. Many people lack self-knowledge and as a result they found it difficult to make a lasting change in their lives. Do you allow people to ride you because you didn’t know who you are? Were you discouraged by giving attention to negative criticism?
You need self-knowledge to always remind yourself of who you are until you get to your destination. Your abilities, powers, influence, potentialities reflect who you really are. But there are those who debilitate their own strength by in-action because someone told them they couldn’t certain things. Let it not be you. Some are confused, they don’t know what to do because they don’t know who they are. I can ask you this question 100 times over…because the answer you give to it is all that matters to your life at all times. Who are you? A winner or loser? A fighter or coward? A finisher or quitter?
Take a sheet of paper and write down everything you know and believe about yourself. Your attributes, abilities, dreams, aspirations and goals. Look at it every day, take steps necessary to each goals attainment, and fight to accomplish them. Never quit until you finish. Fight to finish and finish strong. 2 Timothy 4:7 Apostle Paul said “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. He fought from start to finish and kept the faith. He kept the faith; the only thing that sustained him throughout his journey. He knew what Jesus said about him, he believed it and pursued his life goals and trusted God to the end. He achieved much more than others and he finished strong and well. Be a fighter not a coward, pursue your dreams and trust God to sustain you to the end by faith. Make a move, unleash that power within you!!!
